A: The olive oil is sourced from Spain and Tunisia. 

Q: How is Extra Olive Oil made? 

A: To put it in general, the Olive oil comes from crushing olives and centrifugation. Specific details are proprietary. 

Q: What does cold extracted mean? 

A: Olives are crushed and the oil extracted without chemicals or excessive heat (below 81*F).

Q: What type of cooking can this oil be used for? Medium or high heat? 

A: Extra virgin olive oil may be used at higher temperatures than most sources state. NAOOA is a good resource for additional information on Olive Oil in general. 

Q: Is the Olive Oil processed in a facility that has Peanuts or any of the 8 major allergens? 

A: There are no oils processed there that are in the major 8 allergens considered by FDA

Q: Why did my Olive Oil solidify?

A: It is normal for the olive oil to solidify with cold temperatures, and is due to the natural waxes from the fruit and overall oil composition. It's totally safe to consume it just needs to warm up.

Q: How long does my Primal Kitchen Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil last?

A: The Best By is printed on the bottle. Store in a cool dry place away from sunlight. Once opened, use as soon as possible, preferably within 2 months for optimal quality.

Product may become cloudy at lower temperatures. This occurs naturally and does not affect the quality of the oil.

Keto Certification: Keepin’ it Keto Certified means keepin’ the carb count super specific based on standard, USDA-set serving guidelines.
